What Awesome Bears builds

Awesome Bears builds AI products that give people a clear way to understand and control what the software is doing. The company is small and product-led. It does not present itself as a financial institution, brokerage, or investment adviser.

TraderBear is the clearest example of that approach. A user can ask an AI agent to research a prediction market, explain what it found, and practice a trade with virtual funds. The virtual bear gives that practice a visible sense of progress. The product is deliberately a web product today; there is no public iOS app.

Another project, BearScout, remains a private beta. It is hidden from public users. Calling it a launched public product would be inaccurate, which is why Awesome Bears and TraderBear describe its status plainly.

Why TraderBear starts with paper trading

Every TraderBear account starts in paper trading. Users work with simulated funds while they learn the interface, inspect market information, and see how the agent behaves. Live trading is not available at signup.

The current product design keeps live trading locked behind a demanding, sustained qualification path. The required level is intentionally high, so new users should expect to remain in paper trading for a long time. If live trading is eventually unlocked, a user chooses how execution works: each order can require approval, or the user can authorize direct execution within explicit permissions and limits.

That choice does not transfer responsibility to the software or the company. Users review the agent's output, decide what authority to grant, and assume the risk of their own trading. TraderBear does not promise returns and should not be treated as investment advice.

What the product can and cannot do

TraderBear can combine natural-language instructions with market research, simulated trading, risk controls, and a persistent virtual pet. Its architecture page explains how the web app, agent layer, and data services fit together.

An AI agent can still misunderstand a request, use incomplete data, or produce a poor decision. A friendly bear does not remove those limitations. The product exposes controls and starts with simulation because users need time to test the system before considering real execution.

The distinction matters for search results too. TraderBear is not a generic "bear trader" glossary term, a trading course, or the unrelated Trader Bears retail brand. It is the official product of Awesome Bears at trader-bear.com.

Where the names appear

The official company website uses Awesome Bears and awesome-bears, inc. The product website uses TraderBear as the primary spelling, with Trader Bear and trader-bear as recognizable alternatives. These are aliases for the same product, not separate services.

Both websites link to each other so readers and search systems can verify the relationship. The company site identifies TraderBear as a product. The TraderBear site identifies Awesome Bears as its builder and operator. The structured data on both sites uses the same Organization, Brand, WebSite, SoftwareApplication, and founder identifiers.

Why there are two official websites

awesome-bears.com is the home of the company and its products. trader-bear.com is the product website, where people can learn how TraderBear works and use the web app. Keeping those roles separate makes it possible to explain the company without turning the product experience into a corporate site.

If a search for “awesome bears” leads to trader-bear.com, it is still an official first-party source. If a search for “trader bear” leads to awesome-bears.com, that is also an official source. The two domains describe the same company-product relationship from different sides.
